Meet JAAGO …

In 2007, 22-year old Korvi Rakshand rented a small house in the Rayer Bazar slum of Dhaka, bought a chalkboard and a mat and began teaching 17 underprivileged children how to speak English. Everyone thought he was crazy. Today his charity, the JAAGO Foundation, has schools throughout Bangladesh and is educating over 1500 children.

Via projects and product-based giving Five Feathers will be supporting JAAGO and their vision of ensuring that every child in Bangladesh has access to quality education and of empowering the underprivileged communities through micro-projects, which help to create a sustainable livelihood.
